Does not anything else make the Commission look limp and lily - livered and undermine public confidence in the European Union.Will you make it clear please at your press conference that the full force of the law will be used against the delinquent Member State unless this ban is lifted

Charging interest in default , which is actually obligatory in France , is rarely respected for fear of losing a customer.The really good idea contained in this report is the idea of paying VAT when invoices are actually settled. This is a commonsense measure attractive to all heads of businesses. The creation of a second European market , in the sense in which you mean it , is of interest only to a few enterprises in a very specific sector

Ich habe mich noch niemals an ein EIC gewandt , um Informationen zu erhalten. In meinem Land werden wir unter einer Lawine von Informationen seitens der Generalräte , Regionalräte , Handelskammern , Berufsverbände und anderer begraben. Was jetzt auf europäischer Ebene aufgebaut werden soll , ist für mich daher eine überflüssige weitere Schicht.Bei den Zahlungsfristen , die heute bei bis zu sechs Monaten liegen , befassen Sie sich mit den Folgen , nicht jedoch mit den Ursachen , nämlich der allgemeinen Wirtschaftskrise. Befände sich die Wirtschaft bei guter Gesundheit , erfolgten die Zahlungen sehr viel rascher , und die Wirtschaftspolitik , die Sie den Staaten diktieren , ist dem Wachstum keinesfalls förderlich. Aus Angst , den Kunden zu verlieren , werden häufig nicht einmal Verzugszinsen in Rechnung gestellt , was in Frankreich sogar vorgeschrieben ist.Eine wirklich gute Idee dieses Berichts ist das Bezahlen der Mehrwertsteuer im Augenblick der tatsächlichen Rechnungsbegleichung. Eine solche Maßnahme entspränge dem gesunden Menschenverstand und wird auch von allen Unternehmern gefordert. These banana - dollar billionaires say that they are the victims of discrimination. They dispute the preferential regime granted to the poor people of Africa , the Caribbean or the Pacific , and in so doing they are calling into question the policies of the European Union , and even the European Union itself , which might possibly be the least negative aspect of this whole affair.So first our cooperation and development policy is called into question. Lomé IV is being disputed. This is the preferential regime granted to the Cameroons and the Ivory Coast , which goes back to General de Gaulle in 1960. It was also one of the conditions of the Common Market. All these small growers , who have a low level of technology , only account for 7 % of the Community market , some 850 , 000 tonnes as against the 2 , 500 million tonnes offered to the North American multinationals , and all of this is supposedly getting in the way of the giants. This is a perfect expression of economic imperialism , which has gone so far that compensation is being rejected. Even if we were prepared to pay compensation , the United States would not take it. They want crushing domination.Our regional policy for the ultraperipheral regions is called into question because we produce at ECU 50 a day in the Canaries , Madeira , Guadeloupe and Martinique , whereas the multinationals produce at a cost of ECU 50 per month , with their slaves. With regard to Honduras , I would remind you that the Honduras army is in multinational hands , and that when the Honduras tax authorities wish to levy taxes on a crate of bananas , they are forbidden to do so.Our budget policy is called into question. Indeed , at ECU 75 of customs duties per tonne , multiplied by 2 , 500 million tonnes , under the pretext of the accession to EU membership of Austria , Sweden and Finland - this all adds up to a gift of ECU 2 billion in banana duties. I don't know where Mrs Gradin is , who shows such concern about the financial interests of the European Community and about fraud , but here is a wonderful case of fraud , fraud on the weight of the crates , not to mention the German political parties , who may not be lily - white with regard to Chiquita

Man stellt das Lomé IVAbkommen in Frage. Man stellt das System der Handelsvergünstigungen , die Kamerun und der Elfenbeinküste gewährt werden , und das auf Général de Gaulle zurückgeht , in Frage. Damit stellt man auch eine der Voraussetzungen für den Gemeinsamen Markt in Frage. Alle diese kleinen Produzenten , alle diese Kleinbauern mit einer minimalen technischen Ausstattung , die nicht mehr als 7 % des EU - Marktes ausmachen und die lediglich 850 000 Tonnen liefern , stören die nordamerikanischen Multis mit ihren 2 , 500 Millionen Tonnen. Hier kommt in der Tat der Wirtschaftsimperialismus perfekt zum Ausdruck , und der geht soweit , daß man sich sogar weigert , Schadensersatzleistungen anzunehmen. Selbst wenn wir sie entschädigen wollten , würden die Vereinigten Staaten dies ablehnen. Sie wollen ganz einfach die totale Kapitulation.Man stellt unsere Regionalpolitik zugunsten entlegener Regionen - wie den Kanarischen Inseln , Madeira , Guadeloupe , Martinique - in Frage , weil wir dort zu 50 Ecu pro Tag produzieren , wogegen die Multis ihren Sklaven nur 50 Ecu im Monat bezahlen. A propos Honduras : hier möchte ich darauf hinweisen , daß die Armee von Honduras sich in den Händen der Multis befindet , und daß dem Fiskus in Honduras , der Bananenkisten mit einer Steuer belegen wollte , dies verboten wurde.Man stellt unsere Haushaltspolitik in Frage. Unter dem Vorwand der Neuzugänge wie Österreich , Schweden und Finnland belegt man jede Tonne mit einem Einfuhrzoll von 75 Ecu. Wenn man diese Summe mit 2500 multipliziert , ergibt dies immerhin ein Zollgeschenk in Höhe von 2 Milliarden Ecu. Ich weiß nicht , wo Frau Gradin gerade ist , die sich um die finanziellen Interessen der Europäischen Gemeinschaft und um Betrugsfälle kümmert. Hier gibt es einen sehr schönen Fall von Betrug , insbesondere was fälschliche Angaben zum Kistengewicht angeht , ganz zu schweigen von den deutschen politischen Parteien , die , was Chiquita angeht , eventuell auch keine weiße Weste haben
