Romania has planned to follow the convergence process and to reduce the gaps existing at the moment of accession. Its human and material resources are an important source of competitiveness for all the Member States , which represents one of the main advantages that our country's accession has brought to the Union.The growth potential of the Romanian economy , of the energy resources and the overall natural resources , its attractiveness and territorial accessibility are an advantage for the interdependence of the European economies and we rely on the solidary support of the older Member States so that , beyond any conjectural and temporary dissensions , the Romanian resources would be showed to be an advantage at their true potential , to the Union's benefit
Rumänien plant , den Konvergenzprozess fortzusetzen und die zum Zeitpunkt des Beitritts klaffenden Lücken schrittweise zu schließen. Seine personellen und materiellen Ressourcen sind eine wichtige Quelle für die Wettbewerbsfähigkeit aller Mitgliedstaaten , und das ist einer der wichtigsten Vorteile , die der Beitritt unseres Landes der Union gebracht hat.Das Wachstumspotenzial der rumänischen Wirtschaft , der Energieressourcen und der natürlichen Ressourcen insgesamt , ihre Attraktivität und territoriale Zugänglichkeit sind für die wechselseitige Abhängigkeit der europäischen Volkswirtschaften von Vorteil , und wir zählen auf die solidarische Unterstützung der älteren Mitgliedstaaten , damit die rumänischen Ressourcen über spekulative und zeitweilige Meinungsverschiedenheiten hinweg ihr wahres Potenzial zum Wohle der Union entfalten können
A central issue for the external role of the euro is stability. In that context , the role of politicians is to look at economic fundamentals in the real economy ; the role of politicians is to achieve an appropriate level of convergence ; the role of politicians is to define what is the desirable level of price stability internally. But when those elements are set , it is the role of the Central Bank to call the monetary policy mix , and we need not at this stage reopen old debates.The unknown quantity in regard to the external value of the euro is clear : it is the speed and extent to which the euro has the market - base capacity to become a reserve currency and what the implications of that would be in feed - back terms for internal policy , which at the moment is conjectural
In diesem Zusammenhang besteht die Aufgabe der Politiker darin , festzulegen , welches Niveau an Preisstabilität intern wünschenswert ist. Wenn diese Elemente festgelegt sind , wird es jedoch Aufgabe der Zentralbank sein , den monetären Policy - mix anzugeben , so daß dann in diesem Stadium die alten Debatten nicht neu eröffnet zu werden brauchen.Die unbekannte Größe bezüglich des Außenwertes des Euro ist klar : sie hängt davon ab , wie schnell und in welchem Umfang der Euro die auf dem Markt beruhende Fähigkeit besitzt , zu einer Reservewährung zu werden und welche Rückwirkungen - die derzeit auf Vermutungen beruhen - dies auf innenpolitischer Ebene haben wird , Für die ELDR - Fraktion möchte ich zusammenfassend sagen , daß , was die Rollenverteilung zwischen den Politikern und der Bank betrifft , wir dem Kaiser geben sollten , was des Kaisers ist , und der Bank , was im Vertrag bestimmt ist
