Biofuels are not the cause of the crisis , though. Dennoch sind die Biokraftstoffe nicht die Ursache der Krise. Ganze 2 % der landwirtschaftlichen Produktion werden zu Biokraftstoffen verarbeitet , sie sind also nur ein Teil des Problems.Ich spüre heute viele Bedenken , um nicht zu sagen Angst , sogar hier im Parlament , aber übereiltes , unüberlegtes Handeln führt zu nichts. Wir brauchen eine stabile Agrarpolitik , aber Stabilität müssen wir nicht nur in der Landwirtschaft anstreben , sondern auch auf den Finanzmärkten. Die fehlende Kontrolle der Finanzmärkte führt zu Spekulationen und gefährlichen Situationen , erst auf dem Hypothekenmarkt , dann auf den Nahrungsmittelmärkten.
