I shall therefore repeat what I said at the time. We are today offering Turkey , via the customs agreement , the bases for dialogue with Europe and , therefore , the opportunity to look optimistically to the future
Ich wiederhole daher , was ich bereits damals gesagt hatte : Wir geben der Türkei heute mit der Zollunion die Grundbedingungen für einen Dialog mit Europa und demnach die Möglichkeit , zuversichtlich in die Zukunft zu blicken
