I am sorry too if this resolution has discriminated against Poland by giving a mistaken picture of events and views there. Because of these points relating to Poland and after thinking long and hard , I ended up abstaining. I wish , however , to express my sympathy for all those homosexuals who have had to suffer real discrimination and injustice.In other words , although the Commission's proposal was good to begin with , Parliament's proposals have managed to make substantial improvements , by meeting in full the need to compensate the additional costs involved in fishing in Madeira and the Azores , which will now have an annual overall budget of EUR 5 million for the purpose
Um sie zu heilen , bedarf es einer Therapie. Sie lassen sich nicht durch politische Maßnahmen heilen , ebenso wenig wie die Klaustrophobie , die Furcht vor engen Räumen , oder die Arachnophobie , die Furcht vor Spinnen.Ich bedaure es , wenn Menschen dazu gebracht werden , sich wegen ihrer Gefühle oder Phobien schuldig zu fühlen. Das führt nur zu einer anderen , neuen Form der Diskriminierung und der Manipulation. Ebenso bedaure ich es , wenn Polen durch diesen Entschließungsantrag diskriminiert wurde , indem er ein falsches Bild von den dortigen Vorkommnissen und Auffassungen gezeichnet hat. Aus eben diesem Grund habe ich mich nach reiflicher Überlegung entschlossen , mich der Stimme zu enthalten. Ich möchte jedoch meine Sympathie für alle jene Homosexuellen zum Ausdruck bringen , die unter echter Diskriminierung und Unrecht zu leiden haben
