Nevertheless , I hope the Commission will take note of the sentiment and clean up its act. My constituents in Northumberland , Tyne and Wear , Durham and Cleveland demand that the Commission put an end to the culture of casual misappropriation of taxpayers money that exists in so many of our European institutions.How am I supposed to justify to my constituents in Leicestershire or Northamptonshire the fact that the admitted level of waste and fraud in the EU institutions at EUR 5 billion is as much as the UK's annual net budget contribution
