However , of all the public utilities that could be privatized and that could be opened to competition , the postal sector is the one that has the most immediate and direct impact in a local economy , simply because the local postman or postmistress lives , works , and raises their children in the area and also in many parts of Europe is the only direct contact that people have with what is going on in the outside world | Natürlich pflichten wir alle dem Wettbewerbsgedanken bei. Doch von allen öffentlichen Versorgungsbetrieben , die privatisiert und dem Wettbewerb geöffnet werden könnten , ist der Postsektor der , der die unmittelbarste und direkteste Auswirkung auf die lokale Wirtschaft hat , ganz einfach deshalb , weil der lokale Briefträger bzw. die Briefträgerin in dem betreffenden Gebiet lebt , arbeitet und seine/ihre Kinder großzieht und in vielen Gegenden Europas auch der einzige Kontakt ist , den die Menschen mit dem haben , was in der Welt draußen vor sich geht |
