Zu einer Zeit , da über eine Verringerung der Beihilfen für die Landwirtschaft gesprochen wird , da manche Landwirte und hier vor allem Viehzüchter wegen des darniederliegenden Rindfleischmarktes ihre Weideflächen umgraben möchten und wir Gefahr laufen , die europäische Anbaufläche für Getreide , Ölsaaten und Eiweißpflanzen zu überschreiten , muß die Verwendung von Biokraftstoffen unter Einbeziehung landwirtschaftlicher Erzeugnisse gefördert werden. In Frankreich wird beispielsweise heute geschätzt , daß in Anbetracht der verheerenden Lage im Rindfleischsektor die Anbaufläche für Getreide , Ölsaaten und Eiweißpflanzen um 300.000 Hektar überschritten werden könnte.Abschließend , liebe Kollegen , bitte ich Sie , mit Ihrer Abstimmung einer indirekten Besteuerung den Weg zu bereiten , mit der die gesamte europäische Landwirtschaft unterstützt wird. Unsere internationalen Abkommen lassen dies zu , und wir brauchen nur noch den politischen Willen hierzu
