I do not see any reasons why the European Parliament should not support Moldova’s European Union membership prospects during the democratic and economic reform processes. The first Copenhagen criterion – democracy – is , of course , a prerequisite for Europe’s support and cooperation , but the other two – a free market economy and the rule of law – are equally essential for Moldova
Ich meine hier die Sendezeiten von Teleradio Moldava. Möglichkeiten für die Wahlwerbung muss es sowohl auf den Straßen als auch in den Medien geben. Das ist eine Mindestforderung , ohne deren Erfüllung wir die Wahlen am 6. März nicht als demokratisch einstufen können.Die Republik Moldau muss die gleiche Behandlung durch die Europäische Union erfahren wie die Ukraine. Ich sehe daher keinen Anlass , warum das Europäische Parlament nicht für einen zukünftigen Beitritt der Republik Moldau zur Europäischen Union als Teil des demokratischen und wirtschaftlichen Reformprozesses sein sollte. Das erste Kopenhagener Kriterium - Demokratie – ist natürlich eine Grundvoraussetzung für die europäische Unterstützung und Zusammenarbeit , aber auch die anderen beiden – freie Marktwirtschaft und Rechtsstaatlichkeit – sind für die Republik Moldau ebenso maßgebend
