| I do not take the side of Lukashenko’s government , nor do I support its abject failures , but I would like to warn that a policy of force using sanctions , demonisation of the regime’s representatives and propagandistic simplification of the problem usually only serves to escalate the situation , and resolves nothing | Weder spreche ich für die Lukaschenko - Regierung noch unterstütze ich ihre verabscheuungswürdigen Taten , aber ich möchte davor warnen , dass eine Politik der Druckausübung , die auf Sanktionen , Verteufelung der Vertreter des Regimes und eine propagandistische Vereinfachung des Problems setzt , im Allgemeinen nur zu einer Eskalation der Lage führt und keine Lösung bringt |
