I beg to observe that the withholding of reports and items of information as significant as this does not honour the principle of trustful cooperation between Parliament and the Commission , and that I personally am very disappointed by this course of action

I call on you to accept this report and the proposal for agreement with the trilogue so that we , as the European Union and as the European Parliament , can maintain our leading role in the reform of the financial markets. It is also important that we implement all the requirements for future development so that can open the door to an improved , more stable and more trustful financial market and once again assume a leading role at the next G20 Summit
Ich ersuche Sie diesen Bericht , den Vorschlag der Einigung mit dem Trilog anzunehmen , damit wir die Vorreiterrolle bei der Neuordnung des Finanzmarktes als Europäische Union , als Europäisches Parlament aufrecht erhalten können und dass wir alle Vorgaben an die künftige Entwicklung in die Tat umsetzen , damit wir die Tür für einen verbesserten , stabileren , vertrauensvolleren europäischen Finanzmarkt aufschlagen können und eine starke Rolle bei den nächsten Gesprächen bei G20 weiter einnehmen können
Do you , though , not think it a matter of trustful cooperation or proper administrative procedure that you should at least inform the rapporteur when a report completing the evaluation of a particular stage of an action programme is coming out. It is at Leonardo that new accusations are levelled in this report. I practically have to assume that you wanted to have your innocence certified by Parliament , and then , when perhaps in about another six months time , it came out that yet more scandalous things had been going on , it would be easy for you to say : Oh please , Parliament sanctioned what we did.'Please stick to the rules of fair play. If there is to be a general report , I will not be able tell whether there is perhaps something about Leonardo I in it.On behalf of the PPE group , to which I belong , I therefore ask that today's debate and vote be cancelled and that the report be referred back to the competent committee , so that I can gather appropriate information and present a report containing all documents and items of information that there actually are on the subject
Aber halten Sie es nicht für ein Vorgehen der vertrauensvollen Zusammenarbeit bzw. der korrekten Verwaltung , dass Sie , wenn ein Bericht ansteht , der die Bewertung einer bestimmten Phase eines Förderprogramms abschließen soll , dann wenigstens der Berichterstatterin Bescheid sagen. Gerade zu Leonardo werden in diesem Bericht neue Vorwürfe erhoben. Ich muss ja praktisch unterstellen , dass Sie sich hier einen Persilschein vom Parlament holen wollten und dann irgendwann in einem halben Jahr womöglich damit rausgekommen wären , dass noch einige andere Skandale passiert sind. Dann könnten Sie leicht sagen : Aber bitte , auch das Parlament hat unsere Vorgehensweise abgesegnet. Bitte halten Sie sich an die Regeln des Fairplay. Wenn es einen allgemeinen Bericht gibt , kann ich ja nicht riechen , dass da mittendrin vielleicht etwas über Leonardo I steht
