Regarding the restrictions on support for hazelnut production , we believe that it is not acceptable to withhold it from those producer organisations wishing to benefit from the extension of improvement schemes

Mr President , several times over the last year I have addressed enquiries to the Commission for news about the large consignments of extra - Community oil imported into Italy via third countries. I have requested that a Community database be set up for oil and that Regulation 2568/91 be revised , in order to check analytically for the presence of hazelnut oil in the olive oil imported into Italy. Unfortunately the answers have never been reassuring , and sometimes they have been quite alarming
Herr Präsident , im letzten Jahr habe ich mich mehrfach mit Anfragen an die Kommission gewandt , damit sie Notiz von den großen Mengen von nicht aus der Union stammendem Öl nehmen möge , das über Dreiecksgeschäfte nach Italien eingeführt wird. Ich habe gefordert , dass eine Datenbank über Öl eingerichtet und die Verordnung Nr. 2568/91 einer Überprüfung unterzogen wird , um durch Analysen das Vorhandensein von Haselnussöl in dem nach Italien importiertem Olivenöl nachzuweisen. Leider waren die Antworten niemals beruhigend , sondern mitunter sogar besorgniserregend
