Lastly , we continue to need research measures , in the field of criminology too and to develop our laboratories. I thank the rapporteur for taking on board so many of the comments we made in the Research Committee and I hope that the completion of the single market will not continue to be hindered by national standards
Zuletzt brauchen wir weiterhin Forschungsmaßnahmen , auch im Bereich der Kriminologie und zum Ausbau unserer Laboratorien. Ich danke dem Berichterstatter , daß er so viel von unseren Anmerkungen aus dem Forschungsausschuß mitberücksichtigt hat , und ich hoffe , daß die Verwirklichung des Binnenmarktes nicht weiterhin durch nationale Normen behindert wird. Vergessen wir aber auch nicht die internationale Ebene , die über Europa hinausgeht , und ich möchte stellvertretend nur die ISO - Normen erwähnen
Type III is the so - called contre - filet procedure. I have to say that just at the moment I would prefer a faux - filet . We are opposed to the contre - filet procedure , and we believe that the modus vivendi should be adhered to , as set out in the Oddy report. Unless we settle this whole comitology issue once and for all , and so as to bring about transparency , then the process of comitology will eventually become one of criminology , and that would not be a good thing for the Commission or the Council , nor indeed for Europe and ourselves

Wir sind gegen das contre filet - Verfahren und sind auch der Meinung , daß dieser modus vivendi so beibehalten werden sollte , wie er im Bericht Oddy angesprochen ist. Wenn wir nicht endlich einmal das ganze Komitologieverfahren regeln , und zwar unter dem Gesichtspunkt der Transparenz , dann wird das Komitologieverfahren in einem Kriminologieverfahren enden , und das wäre nicht gut , weder für die Kommission noch für den Rat , noch für uns , noch für Europa
