Wir sollten daher dem türkischen Volk sein Selbstbestimmungsrecht zugestehen , sein Recht , seine Zukunft selbst zu gestalten , sein Recht auf Unterschied , sein Recht auf Bewahrung der zivilisatorischen Güter , die offensichtlich nicht mit den unseren übereinstimmen.Daher ist der einzige Erwägungsgrund , dem wir uns alle beugen sollten , die Realität und die Offenkundigkeit. Die Türkei ist kein europäisches Land , ihre Kultur ist nicht europäisch , ihre Werte sind nicht europäisch. Folglich kann die Türkei der Europäischen Union nicht beitreten
