In this connection , it is , to Parliament's ear , illogical , to say the least , for Spain's People's Party to denounce international interference in their country's internal affairs while proposing a resolution outrightly and unequivocally condemning the vote in the Cortes
In diesem Zusammenhang erscheint es dem EP gelinde gesagt absurd hören zu müssen , dass die spanische Volkspartei eine internationale Einmischung in die inneren Angelegenheiten ihres Landes beanstandet und zugleich eine Entschließung vorschlägt , in der die Abstimmung in der Cortes glattweg und unmissverständlich verurteilt wird
I hope , like the House of Commons or the Reichstag in Germany , or the Cortes in Spain , that building will be there for our children , our grandchildren and our great - grandchildren , that it will never be bombed or desecrated and that it will be the place in which the people of Europe will find their voice over the generations to come
