For those who are not familiar with it , Terni is a town in the green countryside of Umbria that is different from the others. Located in the region of Lake Trasimeno , with its little medieval towns and the mysticism of Saint Francis and the renaissance painters , Terni has , for 120 years , been a town of steel and steelworkers. Its lifeblood is the steelworks and , through innovation , it has been able to protect and to improve its production for over a century , even during the war.There are no valid economic reasons why the production of magnetic sheet steel should be concentrated in France and Germany : in 2004 ThyssenKrupp made a net profit of many millions of euros from the Terni plant

Consequently , we have strong ties with this country ; - fourthly , China can prove its commitment to WTO rules by improving its legislation on intellectual property and thus controlling imitations and - fifthly , with this approach and current rates , the WTO estimates that China will have 3/5 of exports in 2015 , a position which it held for a thousand years , from 500 to 1500 A
In unserer Debatte geht es also wirtschaftlich , historisch , kulturell und handelsmäßig um einen Koloss , der nun anscheinend aus einem langen Schlaf erwacht.China beweist heute seine reale Stärke und seine unbegrenzten Möglichkeiten im Innen - und Außenhandel , im Exportsektor , in der Technologie und insbesondere bei Waren , deren Rohstoffe in diesem geheimnisvollen Land , das man mit einem vor dem Ausbruch stehenden Vulkan vergleichen könnte , eine jahrhundertealte Tradition haben.Es ist zu begrüßen , dass die Europäische Union den Beziehungen zu China die gebührende Aufmerksamkeit widmet und bei der Verabschiedung von Entschließungen zu diesem Thema sehr wachsam ist , denn - erstens sind derzeit 9 Kategorien chinesischer Waren Gegenstand von Untersuchungen , - zweitens gewinnt China auf der weltpolitischen Bühne immer mehr an Gewicht , - drittens ist die Europäische Union der wichtigste Handelspartner Chinas und China der zweitwichtigste Handelspartner der Europäischen Union , sodass enge Beziehungen zu diesem Land bestehen , - viertens kann China die Einhaltung der WTO - Regeln dadurch unter Beweis stellen , dass es bessere Rechtsvorschriften zum Schutz des geistigen Eigentums erlässt und damit die Produktpiraterie eindämmt , und - fünftens schätzt die WTO , dass China mit diesem Vorgehen und bei den derzeitigen Wachstumsraten im Jahre 2015 drei Fünftel aller Exporte auf sich vereinigen wird , wie dies schon einmal tausend Jahre lang – von 500 bis 1500 – der Fall war
