– Mr President , the attempt by the Czech Government to ban the Czech Communist Youth Movement because it projects the perception of class struggle and of Marxism and Leninism is an insult and has provoked the indignation of thousands of democratic people in Europe and the rest of the world

Das Bestreben der tschechischen Regierung , die tschechische Kommunistische Jugendbewegung zu verbieten , da diese die Idee des Klassenkampfes und des Marxismus - Leninismus propagiert , stellt eine Provokation dar und hat die Empörung tausender demokratisch gesinnter Menschen in Europa und der übrigen Welt hervorgerufen
I voted against the resolution on extremism because it is the fruit of that hatred it is called upon to condemn. And who is lecturing us on extremism. Comrade Schulz and Comrade Cohn - Bendit , these champions of Marxism and Leninism , that very ideology which massacred dozens of millions of Russians and Ukrainians in the beginning of last century
Ich habe gegen den Entschließungsantrag zum Extremismus gestimmt , da er das Ergebnis des Hasses ist , zu dessen Verurteilung aufgefordert wird. Und wer belehrt uns in punkto Extremismus. Genosse Schulz und Genosse Cohn - Bendit , diese Verfechter des Marxismus und Leninismus , eben jener Ideologie , unter der Millionen von Russen und Ukrainern Anfang des letzten Jahrhunderts ermordet wurden
Mr President , the European Union only has legitimacy when it acts more efficiently than the Member States acting individually. Organised crime is the very type of harmful activity that calls for action at European level.The report by Mrs Cederschiöld rightly stresses the need for the Council to propose concrete measures and to involve the applicant countries that hope to join the European Union in whatever prevention measures might be established by the Council. Unfortunately , we know that those countries , and particularly the countries of central and eastern Europe , have been left in a dreadful state of moral and economic decline by Marxist - Leninism
Herr Präsident , die Europäische Union kann nur dann legal wirksam werden , wenn ihre Arbeit wirkungsvoller als die der einzelnen Mitgliedstaaten ist. Das organisierte Verbrechen ist die Form krimineller Betätigung , deren Bekämpfung Maßnahmen auf europäischer Ebene erfordert.Im Bericht von Frau Cederschiöld wird zu Recht hervorgehoben , daß der Rat gefordert ist , konkrete Maßnahmen vorzuschlagen , und daß die Beitrittskandidaten in vom Rat zu beschließende Präventionsstrategien einzubeziehen sind. Leider wissen wir , daß diese Länder , speziell die Staaten Mittel - und Osteuropas , von den jeweiligen marxistisch - leninistischen Regimes in einem Zustand moralischen und wirtschaftlichen Verfalls zurückgelassen wurden
